The finale of Bigg Boss 18 was nothing short of spectacular, with drama, glitz, and suspense keeping audiences glued to their screens. While Karan Veer Mehra claimed the winner's title, Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal emerged as the runners-up. However, the finale also sparked curiosity as reports surfaced that Akshay Kumar exited the set without completing his shoot alongside host Salman Khan.
Akshay Kumar Addresses His Sudden Exit from the Finale
Amid speculations, Akshay Kumar clarified the circumstances of his departure during media interactions. The actor, currently engrossed in promoting his upcoming movie Sky Force, was slated to feature on the Bigg Boss 18 finale for promotional activities. However, unforeseen scheduling conflicts led to his early exit. Speaking about the situation, Akshay stated:
"Salman wasn’t late. It was me who was running behind schedule. He informed me he’d be delayed by about 40 minutes due to a personal matter. Unfortunately, I had a prior commitment and couldn’t wait any longer. We discussed it, and I had to leave. Veer (Pahariya) was present in my absence."
Akshay Kumar Waited for Salman Khan but Had to Leave
According to reports from Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya were scheduled to promote Sky Force together on the show, marking a potential on-screen reunion between Akshay and Salman after Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. However, timing conflicts derailed their plans.
Sources revealed that Akshay arrived punctually at 2:15 PM for the shoot. Despite waiting for an hour, Salman’s prior engagement delayed his arrival. Akshay eventually left to attend a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3, which was already on his agenda.
"Akshay, known for his punctuality, adhered to the scheduled shoot time. Unfortunately, Salman was held up due to another commitment, and Akshay, unable to delay his subsequent obligations, had to leave without filming," the source added.
