Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav believes the team is progressing well under the guidance of head coach Gautam Gambhir. Speaking ahead of the five-match T20I series against England at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, he highlighted the team's flexibility in its batting approach.
Reflecting on his earlier association with Gambhir during his stint with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, Suryakumar shared, “I played under Gauti bhai for four years and spent significant time with him. We understand each other well, and he knows how to communicate effectively. Starting from the Sri Lanka series, it’s evident we’re heading in the right direction.”
